Grace Connolly has developed, staged and performed work(s) at venues including LaMama E.T.C (script development with Obie-Award winner Ping Chong, Blind Ness), The Wild Project, Dixon Place, Bowery Poetry Club, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, The Krane, The Fresh Fruit Festival, Great Lakes Theatre, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Primary Stages ESPA and Freddy’s in Brooklyn. Grace also heads up the radio play division at Cleaver magazine (UPENN) as Senior Editor.
Her play, Devastated No Matter What was selected for the 2016 New York International Fringe Festival after premiering at The Wild Project in 2015 where her lead actor received an award for outstanding portrayal of a character.
Grace regularly develops work with and for her muse and collaborator, Ronete Levenson. Her new play Moses will have it's first staged reading in August, 2017.
Training and Professional Development include: UCLA Writers Extension where she was mentored by Steven Schwartz (Critical Care), Primary Stages ESPA and Kent State University (with one visiting semester on scholarship at NYU). She was the only KSU graduate ever to complete a year long independent study on Women in the Restoration.
