Ivy Vega is currently an Occupational Therapy master's candidate at Columbia University. She attended Barnard College where she received her B.A. in Psychology and Dance. During her time at Barnard, Ivy trained under world-renowned choreographers and dance scholars. She was an active member of many of Columbia's dance and theater groups, choreographed and produced several productions, and was the president of the University's largest performing arts group. Ivy hopes to merge her passion for dance and her skills as an occupational therapist to continue to serve as an advocate for the performing arts and to help foster greater health equity.
